Sultan Story

Salman Khan portrays Sultan Ali Khan, an accomplished wrestler from a small hamlet in India’s Haryana province. He is a talented athlete who loves the game, but he lacks the focus and discipline needed to succeed. He develops feelings for Aarfa, a fellow wrestler and the daughter of a well-known wrestling coach, who is portrayed by Anushka Sharma.

Sultan dedicates himself to wrestling and puts forth a lot of work to earn Aarfa’s esteem. He succeeds as a wrestler, rising to fame and notoriety. Sultan, however, suffers from a number of personal disasters as a result of his haughtiness and overconfidence, including the deaths of his loved ones and his marriage to Aarfa.

Sultan withdraws from wrestling and turns into a recluse after experiencing crushing defeats and loses. He puts on weight and feels purposeless. He discovers a worldwide wrestling competition while in this self-imposed exile and resolves to stage a comeback to reclaim his former glory.

Sultan’s return to the wrestling ring is fraught with difficulties. In order to rebuild his physical and mental vigor, he goes through rigorous training. Sultan battles his personal demons and gets ready for the final wrestling match with the help of his friend Govind (Amit Sadh) and his mentor Fateh Singh (Randeep Hooda).

Sultan’s return to the wrestling ring serves as the film’s climax, when he battles not only his opponents but also his own worries and insecurities. The decisive wrestling battle serves as a metaphor for his atonement and subsequent quest for identity.

“Sultan” is a tale of tenacity, resiliency, and personal growth. It looks at issues like love, loss, aspiration, and willpower. The movie shows the struggles wrestlers and athletes go through on a physical and emotional level, as well as the sacrifices they make in order to succeed.

Along with the film’s compelling plot and exciting wrestling sequences, Salman Khan’s portrayal of Sultan was a major factor in its box office success. The movie struck a chord with viewers because of its motivational message and the protagonist’s transformation from a hero who had failed to a victorious champion.

Sultan Review

Salman Khan removes his shirt in this film for the first time, and everyone shivers, including Khan. Khan portrays Sultan with elan and melancholy, giving Sultan a wonderful, rounded punch with his acting. Sultan moves from being fit and lean to a gloomy, middle-aged, paunch-burdened guy.

Sultan (Salman), a young man from Rewari, falls in love with Aarfa (Anushka), a great wrestler, but she informs him that no ganwaar without a goal can win her. Sultan joins Aarfa’s father’s akhaara resolutely—the sequence where he changes from “Barkat bhai” to “uncle” is entertaining—and trains so diligently that he captures both Aarfa’s affection and every championship.

Sultan, however, loses his mind after winning the Olympics, and in his conceit, he also loses Aarfa and other people. Sultan must take part in the Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) competition hosted by businessman Akash Oberoi (Amit) in order to reclaim Aarfa and his own identity.

Can the desi wrestler, who is now fat and depressed, compete with the strongest capoeira, judo, and karate champions in the world?

Salman puts forth a spirited performance, convincingly transitioning from a happy, daily “loojer” to a driven athlete, a haughty celebrity, and a broken, dejected, and lonely man. Anushka portrays her well-known fiery character in relatively little variation, but with a rustic accent and self-control.
