Subramaniapuram Tamil Movie Download Kuttymovies, Jiorockers, Isaimini – Sasikumar is the producer, writer, and director of the 2008 Indian Tamil-language period action movie Subramaniapuram. The low-budget movie won praise from critics for its unique script, skilled direction, screenplay, editing, upbeat soundtrack, authentic settings, and 1980s-era clothes that brought Madurai back to life.
Subramaniapuram Movie Story
The action of the story occurs in Madurai’s Subramaniapuram neighborhood. After serving 28 years in jail, a prisoner is freed in 2008, and immediately after leaving the facility, the prisoner is stabbed by an unidentified assailant. The inmate had never spoken to anyone inside the prison and had refused to meet anyone who was coming to visit him from the outside during his stay in prison, so the police are perplexed by this. They are amazed that someone who had a 28-year vendetta against him would stab him as soon as he left the prison. The incidents leading up to the stabbing are described in a flashback to 1980.
Past: A group of close pals who are unemployed includes Azhagar, Paraman, Kaasi, Dopa, and Dumka, a physically challenged person who has polio. They pass their time on the streets in front of the home of Somu, an ex-councillor, and Kanugu, his brother, drinking alcohol and having fun. The family also includes Thulasi and Thulasi’s other uncle in addition to Somu’s wife and their three children.
Due to their regular fights, the five buddies, especially Paraman and Azhagu, frequently wind up in jail. Every time one of their buddies commits a misdemeanor, someone calls the police to report about them. Kanugu and Somu always free them as soon as the cops arrest them. Azhagu and Thulasi simultaneously start to feel attracted to one another. Paraman opposes his friend falling in love with a female, and Azhagu, disregarding his friends’ advice, creates a number of amusing scenes.
When the committee of a nearby temple decides against choosing Somu for a task, it portends bad things to come. Things take a turn for the worst when Somu fails to persuade voters to elect him to the position of district chief for his party (at the time, Tamil Nadu’s ruling party), and his wife makes fun of him for not having a job. Kanugu secludes himself in a lodge and consumes alcohol all day. He makes certain that his pals are aware of him and come to see him. He demands that they assassinate the candidate picked ahead of his brother for the district chief of party position. A plan is hatched by Azhagu, Paraman, and Kaasi, and it is nearly flawlessly carried out. After the murder, they flee, leaving a cycle in their wake.
The police learn that Paraman and Azhagu committed the murder using the cycle they left behind as the second half starts. They present themselves to the court in the hopes that Kanagu will soon post a bail bond. But when they discover through Kaasi that Somu has been chosen for the district chief of party role and is avoiding their communication, they are in for a harsh awakening. They must face reality and remain helpless in prison, where they make a friend with other prisoners. When he finds out about their predicament, he helps them.
The same friend who helped these men wants a favor in exchange for killing his brother-in-law for the death of his sister. These guys succeeded in their mission and are now on the lookout to assassinate Kanugu, who lied to them. Thulasi and Azhagu continue to talk while waiting. Azhagar is almost killed by Kanugu’s troops. Later in the day, the pals retaliate by killing those males. A few days later, in order to assassinate Kanugu, they injured Thulasi’s uncle. Kanugu kills Azhagar using his henchmen after trapping him using Thulasi as bait in order to escape the grasp of these friends. By beheading Kanugu and placing his head at his friend’s murder scene, Paraman exacts revenge for his friend’s passing.
Then, as Paraman phones Kasi to tell him how he killed Kanugu, he notices Somu’s goons pursuing Kasi from behind. Kasi betrays Paraman and abandons him to the henchmen, who then murder him.
Kasi was stabbed outside the jail walls and is now in the hospital. He is critically ill and being questioned by a police officer while lying in the hospital. After the doctor steps in and orders him to leave, Dumka enters and admits that Dopa was the one who stabbed the patient. He then reminds him of his treason and murders him by cutting off his breath supply.
